A couple months ago my life was on track for “on paper” success. 6-figure job. Fancy sales job. Savings. All the external indicators of success.
And yet…
On quiet nights once the laptop was closed, my heart ached for more. More peace, more ease, more authenticity in my life. I was living what looked like a BIG life on LinkedIn, but on the inside it quite plainly felt small.
And so, I did the thing I was most scared of and I walked away from it all, the stable salary, the external validation, the structure, the paved path. I chose the plot twist, the version of my life I never could have predicted in my 20s when I was busy chasing what life was supposed to look like.
As I type this, it’s been 3 months since I spoke the words “I am putting in my 2 weeks notice.”
It’s been 2.5 months since I walked away from corporate life.
And it’s been about 2 days since I’ve decided that instead of using this time to fix uncertainty, I am going to learn how to navigate it… how to become the version of myself that feels undeniably true and authentic.
This blog is a celebration of that journey toward becoming. I am not an influencer trying to gain followers. I am just a woman figuring out who she is outside of a job title, a paycheck, and everyone else’s definition of success.
If you’ve ever felt the ache of wanting more, even when everything around you says you should be satisfied, I hope you’ll stick around. This is where I’ll be figuring it out, one honest post at a time.
